Synopsis

CEMVO South West in association with Boxing Bear Films has launched an innovative film project - 'Arrivals' - to record the stories of individuals who have immigrated to the South West between 5 and 45 years ago. We are working with young film- makers to formally re-establish the dying oral storytelling tradition within the South West's BME community. In 'Arrivals: The Wahabs', Bristol's Bangladeshi youth hear from their elders about how their community was established in the city.
