Synopsis

The Department for Health states that children under the age of 16 should not use mobile phones, due the greater susceptibility of their developing brains, should any danger be discovered in the future. Parents are therefore advised not to let their children use mobile phones. Brain-Z looks into how to reduce the levels of exposure from mobile radiation – for both those using mobiles and those nearby in the community. Website with more info coming soon: www.brain-z.co.uk

This is a huge and much debated topic deserving of a much longer format but even with 3 minutes a lot can still be demonstrated. A 4th tip would have been to keep the phone away from your body for the first 5 seconds after dialling but the exposure levels are on screen so interested viewers can work that out for themselves. On some of the rushes we could see distortions in the image when close to base stations – by close I mean half a meter away. The music is software generated, copyright free.
