Synopsis

In October 2008 Leighton House Museum closed to the public for a nineteen-month restoration and refurbishment project. This is only the second time in the 109 year history of the museum that such large scale interventions have taken place. Frederique Cifuentes has developed a detailed programme of filming that will narrate the experiences of the house, its staff and the many specialists whose expertise has been called upon over the duration of the project.
