Synopsis

A short film focusing on the work of Bernard Benarroch a third generation scribe who hand writes Torah Scrolls according to ancient and exacting tradition. Each is written with a goose quill and takes more than a year to complete
We learn how Bernard first started as a scribe by spilling ink over his fathers work and how the words and letters of the torah effect him on a deeper level. As well as the significance of the Torah for the Jewish People.
