Synopsis

This is the story of Joel Mcilven, aka Appl Juic. He's a teacher in Hackney using unorthodox methods to connect with children that the school system is unable to help. Using Hip Hop as a basis for literacy he's able to make genuine progress and give a voice to people that have struggled to express themselves.
